“Absolutely faultless.
Rooms are beautiful - mine was in the old perfume factory building, meticulously restored, spacious and comfortable, but retaining the old-world charm. Heated towel rail was handy, and the sitting area and balcony made for a particularly luxurious feel.
Service - from housekeeping to reception to the restaurant staff were friendly, courteous, competent and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. There was a slight issue with our booking when we arrived which was resolved quickly and beyond our expectations.
Location - perfect again. You can walk to town if you like, or there is a free on-demand shuttle. So it was convenient but peaceful and serene.
Facilities - heated pool was a very comfortable temperature. Gardens were well-maintained, breakfast room and restaurant high-calibre, and there were great options for communal relaxation which we appreciated as a group of 6 travelling together.”
